Instacart+ Accounts: Free $10 Credit Monthly for Delivery Orders (use or lose it each calendar month)

If you have an INSTACART+ membership, just recently they changed some perks that come with the account. While they no longer give you 5% back in Instacart credits on orders, they now give you a $10 monthly credit on a delivery order.

There's a $2.99 delivery fee + tip to place a $10-11 order. So if you spend $10.50, your grocery bill is 50c, plus $2.99 plus a tip (say $5) Still under $10 which still saves you some money and great for a last minute "I forgot to pick up this or that' order when you have no time to get to the store.

Even better, if your account is funded with below face Instacart gift cards (ie, you got a $100 GC for $85), you're saving money there too.

Sorry, maybe I'm missing something but are you talking about people that have Instacart+ AND the Instacart Mastercard? Because I've had Instacart+ for years and have never gotten 5% back on delivery orders. Or maybe this varies by market area?

I have a deal thru my company for instacart+ membershiip. The cost is $51 per year. Is it worth it? Instacart+ 1-Year New Membership for $49 with Auto-Renew ($99/yr)

not sure if it was 5% back on pick up orders or both delivery and pick up. I don't recall the specifics, I just know they made some changes a couple of months back and they added this $10 monthly credit which is above and beyond the $20 monthly credit I get from Chase Ink in IC+.

Just a heads up for people who do have Icart+ to see if it is sitting in their account and use it 1x a month if they can put it to good use.

you do get Peacock Prem. streaming with your Instacart account so I guess that's worth the $51 a year if you don't already get it from another service like Walmart+.

as for is it worth it, that all depends on how much use you'd get out of it. there are often sales on the Instacart gift cards from 10-20% off face value, so that helps too. But some stores do have markups where you are paying more for the items than if you went to the store and shopped your self.

If you have a mastercard, or certain Chase Visas, you can get 3, 6 or 12 months free of PLUS. That's probably the better way to go if you have a card that will give you a free block of time to try it out and see what you think. As for auto renew that can always be removed so you don't accidentally get charged when the term is up.

I have never used InstaCart+ so i am not sure what i have a use for. i shop Costco a lot and i see there that InstaCart+ is used for same-day delivery. Thats pretty much where i would use it most?
If i still have to pay more after the membership, i dont think its worth it. you can get 3, 6 or 12 months free of PLUS. I dont have Chase Sapphire or Freedom so its no good for me. MasterCard always was Debit Card
