dentist recommended i try using these when I was clacking my teeth together causing nerve bruising/pain. they work but they also fall apart fairly quickly. think i had to re-buy, every 6-8 months or so.

It basically is a normal mouth guard. I personally was not a fan of it. I felt like I had to sleep with my mouth open because of it. They do make a lower profile guard that I prefer (Dentek Ultimate Dental Guard).

And to add to what Thresh said, you will need to replace these probably 1x-2x a year depending on how well you keep it clean.

A standard dental insurance will cover a much better one for you. They'll take the exact shape and adjust it. These might as well hurt your teeth.

I uses these and they're fine for an over-the-counter night guard, but I don't need to replace them for more than a year sometimes. This has "forgot you subscribed" flags.

Exactly. Don't use these for too long. Will make whatever problem you have even worst. If you can't afford a dentist. Take a trip to Mexico o be a dental immigrant.

That is how promotions for new subscriptions work. Cable companies and cell phone companies do the same thing. At least with Amazon, you can cancel your subscription immediately after the product ships, so you don't forget about it.
