A "Hey I just watched a movie" thread

One of the other forums I go to has one of these threads and I've been turned on to some good movies that other regulars just watched. I was kind of surprised not to see a similar thread here (at least not that I could find.)
I just rewatched "Kinamand" - a cute drama about a Danish plumber who gets involved in an arranged marriage with a Chinese illegal. Good stuff (Netflix instant.)
So what have you folks watched recently?

He's fantastic. I still think Liam's best work was in Michael Collins. So good (even better IMO than his work in "Schindler's List")

I loved that movie. I stumbled upon it totally by accident on tv and rented it almost immediately after since I barely paid attention to the beginning.

John Travolta as Dr. Evil, Halle Berry as his flaming hot sidekick and Hugh Jackman as the poor reformed-hacker S.O.B who gets sucked into their scheme... 6.5/10

And Halle Berry being briefly topless doesn't hurt.

Didn't expect much and ended up being wonderfully surprised at how good this movie was. It just kind of sucked me in and took me on a nice ride full of laughter, tears, amazement, etc.
I'd give it 8/10.
Predators better than I expected, especially when compared to AvP: Requiem. I don't know much about Green Lantern's backstory/history/mythos, but I thought the movie was pretty solid. Definitely not in the Iron Man category for me, but my son really enjoyed it. He hopes they make a sequal where we see how Sinestro became...Sinestro.
Up in Smoke hit the spot, although I felt kind of bad watching it without some adult beverages at the very least.

"Journey from the Fall" - Excellent war/refugee story spanning two countries. The storytelling here was really well done. 4/5.
"A Separation" - I thought it was good but not Oscar winning good. I still expect that it will win the Best Foreign category. 3/5
"Save the Green Planet" - Quirky Korean comedy/thriller. 3/5
"The Remains of the Day" – Decent period piece. 3/5
"The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" – Pretty true to the original movie from what I remember (a bit more make sexy time though). Still they recaptured most of the original film's setting/feel (not sure how it compares to the book.)
"The Iron Lady" – Fantastic leading performance. The storytelling was OK but not overly engaging. 3/5.
"The Longest Day" - So good. I don't know how many times I've seen it but every time it's on it's a must-watch. 4.4/5
"The Cranes Are Flying" - Old Soviet wartime film. Not good. 1/5
"Thunder Soul" - Documentary about a high school band that reunites 30 years later. A bit slow and plodding, but a nice story. 2.5/5
"The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance" - Good story - I know it's a classic but it was a good 45 minutes too long. 2.5/5
