One of the other forums I go to has one of these threads and I've been turned on to some good movies that other regulars just watched. I was kind of surprised not to see a similar thread here (at least not that I could find.) 
I just rewatched "Kinamand" - a cute drama about a Danish plumber who gets involved in an arranged marriage with a Chinese illegal. Good stuff (Netflix instant.)
So what have you folks watched recently?

Really good dark thriller. It's one of those movies where you really want the main character to succeed.

I plowed through the Mission Impossible franchise. Each one is better than the last, with 4 better than 3 being debatable.
One big personal annoyance is with the first one. Maybe Brian De Palma intended the first one to not "look like" an action movie, but it looks more like a low-budget TV show than a movie, and the difference in "action" camerawork between 1 and 2-4 is quite noticeable. And what's with #1's plot? Who didn't know who the bad guy is after the first 10 minutes? Come on.
50 First Dates: 4/5 It's funny, it's cute, I like the story although it's a bit mushy. I especially love that her dad and brother put in so much effort to keep her from realizing that she's lost her short term memory.
Fast Five: 2/5 It never gets boring...sorta. But it's basically nothing special. Race car drivers robbing the rich and running away from the feds.
Love and Other Drugs: 1.25/5 Wow...aside from this being softcore porn, it's sooooo boring. Although those scenes were like
Something Borrowed: 2/5 This one wasn't that bad, but also nothing I'd go out of my way to watch. Love triangle type movie.
I think that's all I've watched... but I don't remember.
