One of the other forums I go to has one of these threads and I've been turned on to some good movies that other regulars just watched. I was kind of surprised not to see a similar thread here (at least not that I could find.) 
I just rewatched "Kinamand" - a cute drama about a Danish plumber who gets involved in an arranged marriage with a Chinese illegal. Good stuff (Netflix instant.)
So what have you folks watched recently?

They should have said...'based loosely on a real life story'. The zoo is Dartmoor Zoo in the UK and it was purchased by the man, his wife and their two sons.

Catfish - Didn't know the controversy surrounding the film before watching it but right away everyone knows what's on the other end. No one could be that gullible in this day and age. So the question quickly becomes, "Why?" and that is never truly explored or really answered.
i did not know it was based on a book (also a true story? i dunno...)
anyways, i honestly wish i had never watched it. the level of animal cruelty was astounding, and after sobbing 3 times in less than 60 minutes, i actually had to pause it and go take a bubble bath to calm my nerves and relax. it was that hard for me to watch.
for that reason, i'm gonna go ahead and say that animal lovers should NOT watch it
