One of the other forums I go to has one of these threads and I've been turned on to some good movies that other regulars just watched. I was kind of surprised not to see a similar thread here (at least not that I could find.) Big Grin

I just rewatched "Kinamand" - a cute drama about a Danish plumber who gets involved in an arranged marriage with a Chinese illegal. Good stuff (Netflix instant.)

So what have you folks watched recently?

Watched Man of Steel. It was okay I guess. It was basically 2 movies stapled together. The first was a very well done movie about an orphaned alien who is trying to cope with his identity and discovering his past (as well as some awesome flashbacks to the destruction of his home planet).

The second movie was a kind of boring, illogical disaster movie, in which citizens of a city that is being destroyed by aliens over the course of at least a half hour just stand around and watch it happen instead of evacuating.

I believe the midnight theme is no longer supported by SD and anyone still using the theme will be banned.
