A "Hey I just watched a movie" thread

One of the other forums I go to has one of these threads and I've been turned on to some good movies that other regulars just watched. I was kind of surprised not to see a similar thread here (at least not that I could find.)
I just rewatched "Kinamand" - a cute drama about a Danish plumber who gets involved in an arranged marriage with a Chinese illegal. Good stuff (Netflix instant.)
So what have you folks watched recently?

Elysium - Violent, brutal, so much inhumanity, very few moments worth noting. Still, highly enjoyable. 5 Stars.
2 points for space pictures, -8 for pretentious garbage. Watched half of it and had to turn it off. Maybe I should watch the whole movie and reconsider but ughhhh.
World War Z - 6/10
Don't know why they called it WWZ as it is nothing like the book. Mediocre zombie flick at best. PG-13 zombie movie? Really?
The Great Gatsby - 8.5/10
Really liked the movie, makes me wish I didn't cliff note the book in high school. I will probably read the book now.
I enjoyed it. Nice movie. Just don't think too much into it, and it'll be fine.
But... One thing that irritated me was That seems unlikely. There were some other things, too. But I guess I won't go on a full rant
Looking past those things, it's a good movie.

Looking forward to this one!
Just watched KINGS OF SUMMER
omg this was a movie out of left fieldand was FANTASTIC. it is full of dry sarcasm and random bits of inappropriate humor that doesn't fit in this movie(it's really more of a drama movie). Seriously it's like a serious director filmed a movie and mlv did the editing and script review. A heart to heart moment in the hospital is ending with the classic stepping into the elevator with a cut at the doors closing but before that happens an orderly wheels a patient into the elevator and the doors close on the patient....
It's not slapstick comedy either, it's very dry and you watch it and go omg this director is hilarious because you almost don't know I it was an accident it's so nonsequitor.
The whole of the movie a a solid b+ for story but the humor and story writing make it an A-

Curse of the Demon was my favorite from the bunch, and I'll have to see if I can grab this on DVD or BD.

House at the End of the Street - Boring and poorly edited.
Zzzzzz... Needs more car chases or something.
Captain Phillips
It's hard to like this movie since there's five pirates in a little boat in the middle of the ocean attacking a large ship and trying to board it, and I'm sitting there waiting for the crew of the large ship to just pull out some guns and shoot the pirates and have the movie end at the 15-minute mark. And then I spend the next two hours shaking my head at what happens because they could have just shot the pirates back at the 15-minute mark.
Getting warmed up for The Hobbit pt.2...
Dragon Lore: Curse of the Shadow
Elf babe battles orcs and some other bad guys. I'm a bit impressed since it's a lower-budget movie but is done well, from the costumes and makeup, to the acting of the main orc guy, and even the music.
The same company produced Orc Wars.
A princess from a world of sorcery, orcs, and some other bad guys escapes through a portal into our world. But she's followed. So then a Special Forces guy has to show the orcs and some other bad guys that our world also has magic and sorcery, in the form of .50-caliber rifles and other things that go bang.
Fun stuff if you're in that kind of mood. Hey, orcs... Don't Mess With Texas.
