They sold these with extra pads at Costco under the bbq daddy name for $26. I returned since it was a very odd experience - I didn't like having to dip it in water before cleaning for it to be effective. also the ergonomics never made it feel right in hand when cleaning.

I ended up getting the smarter everyday bbq cleaner made in USA and much more satisfied even though that was not cheap - hopefully it lasts at least a decade.

I was really hesitant to buy it due to the price, but I finally took the plunge. It doesn't matter where it's made, it's fantastic. It works better than a bristle brush, can be cleaned in a dishwasher, has no consumable parts, and the handle doesn't even flex when I bear down on it hard ... and this from someone who's broken several scrubbers. Personally, I wouldn't spend $20 on the scrubber in this listing (that needs a continuous stream of disposable pads) when I could have the be-all, end-all BIFL smarter scrubber for $60.

I am a first-time owner, due to the last SD for this price. I can honestly say it's the best non-metal bristle brush I have. Its effective for the crusted sticky spots that has accumulated from several summers of using other non-metal bristle brushes.
