iirc they've never been cheaper than $600 for 2 checked bags and thats where zipair gets you.

I've had 4 different trips to Japan in February and they were around $600. last year's trip with Singapore airlines was $650 in mid to late March. Just got to be patient. If Singapore doesn't put out a sale/deal by Oct, then Zipair will probably do so.
