Is the secondary monitor worth $50? Is it even good?

Also between the Samsung Odyssey Ark 2nd gen vs Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 which to get?

With Neo G9, any speaker recommended?

Ehhhh debatable. I'd use it as a secondary up top above it to throw spotify/youtube/twitch/etc.

They're very different use-cases. If you're doing a lot of console gaming, go with the Ark, just make sure you're FAR from it since it's basically a tv. The Neo G9 will probably be more difficult for a gpu to run as well since it's dual 4k monitors essentially.

I can totally visualize gaming on this, but I find these useless for multitasking since I can move windows across monitors more easily than resize in fixed areas using keyboard shortcuts

I use one for work, and it performs quite well attached to a MBP.

I was lucky enough to grab a refurb one for $500 local.

I bought this from Costco around this price maybe 6-8 months ago (came with a shop card), it was a great monitor for productivity.

Ended up returning it because of my desk size constraint and the price. Also, my LG gram laptop wasn't up to the task hardware wise to take full advantage.

My use case was 100% productivity.

I might try it again now that I have more space and a 5070 that I upgraded my productivity machine to.

Give us a specific better monitor as an alternative.

Like anything, its a matter of what's important. For me, I'm not willing to accept a VA panel with bad uniformity and image quality in order to get a larger screen. The LG 45GX950A-B OLED is on my short list.

Okay deal, other deals have been better. Also the monitor is very large, I would research it a bit more if you have never used a monitor like this before

I'm still rocking a 34" ultrawide VA panel at 144hz for gaming and work from home. This price is tempting, but I guess I'll hold out a bit longer until they are in the $1k range.
