Why don't they make these variable speeds like full sized drill and impact drivers?

100% agree! I have one too, it's too big for electronics and if you try to use it on big things, you'll likely end up twisting your wrist. It's very uncomfortable to use. I ended up buying a Bosch 12v Max to use for everything but electronics.

I've used ours for a couple of years for small jobs like putting furniture together. It's been good for that sort of stuff.

The only annoying thing is it's too easy to hit the power dial and it accidentally turns off.

And the magnets that hold the bits aren't really strong enough so they can get knocked.

Glad you pointed this out because my workpro one is pretty small and in the photos this one looks much more unweildly. I'll pass.

How is the workpro for electronics? I've been using my Klein precision set and I love it. Since most electronic screws are short I'm not sure the electronic driver is a big benefit.

I bought one, but the $30 escalates to over $41 with $9.99 shipping and taxes.

I agree, the smooth grip is such a bad design... if they added some rubber/texture it would be a so much better product

got one for $14 not that much of a deal. I personally don't like this product because the button isn't pressure sensitive. you can easily strip out screws if you're working with weaker hardware.

Decent little tool, but I don't think it ever cost $100.

I bought a workpro on a SD deal via ebay. It's okay. Issue is there is no torque. Most of my use is around 3D printers and there is never enough torque to tighten screws fully or loosen tight bolts. I use it, it gets me close then have to use a manual screwdriver or spin it to tighten.

25 piece set was only $14 so guess it's good for what I paid.
