For anyone interested in the preservation aspect, the full game is not on the disc. The PS5 version only has 85MB on the disc and Series X only has 300MB on the disc.

This is a decent price but tbh I'd pick up a bundle with the Revelations DLC, it's well worth it

Thank you! I was going to buy this game eventually, but now that I know it won't be a real physical copy I will avoid it.

Thats normal for most games. Having the disc allows for playing the game offline once it is downloaded. If you have it downloaded to an external drive (WD, Seagate, etc), then you don't have to worry about space either. Just move the game file around like on a computer. I wish it was like the older days with games being on a cartridge or disc and COMPLETE, but we unfortunately have let developers get away with incomplete games because people buy them and do the QA testing for them, for free.

It's more common these days but I wouldn't say it's normal for MOST games. I actually think it's the opposite. I collect games, and buy quite a lot, and I'd say most games are still on the disc. They won't have patches, of course, but lots of games are fully built and can be played through entirely offline and without downloading the game. I always check doesitplay.org
