The best thing about Intel/AMD based laptops is that you can happily delete Windows with joy and install Fedora Linux for some serious work or Bazzite for gaming (and work). 😎 No Windows spamware, spyware bloat, just freedom and Linux. 🐧🔥

Just bought this and have it on hand. The best benefit of this laptop is it's weight at 999g. On par with zenbook 14.
Processor is a little lackluster along with ram but for a student use I think this is more than enough.
226v with 130v arc graphics can run most games in decent FPS. Obviously not high settings but playable.
If playing minecraft, LOL, rocket league... should be more than enough.

If anyone is considering buying it, be aware that this comes with 16 GB LPDDR5X-8533MT/s (Memory on Package). This means, the RAM is soldered to the MB and is generally not upgradeable or expandable. Not a dealbreaker. Just something to be aware of.

"Memory on Package" does not mean it's soldered to the MB. The memory is part of the CPU package (hence Memory on Package). Indirectly, since the CPU Package is soldered to the MB, you are correct, but it's not the same as non-Lunar Lake CPU's where the memory chips themselves are soldered to the MB.

Too bad it's not 32 MB.
I have had to replace RAM on motherboards before.
If the RAM dies, replacement would be expensive.

Yeah, but a <2.2 lb laptop, with a 120 Hz screen at this price point is hard to find. Bonus is that it's 14", not 13" and has decent enough ports.
Could replace a larger tablet with its keyboard case and be a capable enough pc

OLED is usually more pleasing and better contrasts. Does take more battery. The laptop you linked has human presence detector, so seamless login, no fingerprint scanner. I like that better. What's the price on that one?
