Coming from a Bose QC Ultra owner I had high hopes as I love my AirPods Pro 2 and the Apple integration but these are supremely uncomfortable, heavy with high clamp force. I returned them immediately and will wait for the 3rd gen rumored to be lighter.

I tried these and agreed on the clamping force. But the sound was so good and the ease of use across apple devices was hard to forget. I then tested the Bose Ultra gen 2, Sennheiser Momentum 5, Sony XM6, Sonos Ace, and Skullcandy crusher 1080anc. In the end they all had their problems. None of them and I mean none of them support spatial audio and dolby atmos natively on Apple devices. If they say they do its because they only do on android or they have their own process which isnt nearly as good. I wanted these almost exclusively for watching movies and tv. So i ended up rebuying the APM2 and then read how to make them more comfortable by stretching the headband 180 degrees for 30 seconds and after about a week they are fantastic and i dont feel them at all anymore. Definitely worth a second shot. Just stretch them out so the clamping force is lessened.

Only worth it if you most value Apple's hardware/software integration, otherwise, Sony/Bose provide better value.
