My phone doesn't support UWB, but my next one will. This will function as a regular tracker until then. We'll see how it compares to the pixel tracker when that comes out.

I'm planning to do the same.

Do these ping from all Android phones, or just those with the app installed? I know airtags will only ping from Apple phones for example.

I'd never really looked at these style trackers before but recently got an e scooter. Anyone have one of these that they've hidden inside a device with a metal shell (like in the battery compartment of a scooter) and have found to still work well?

How can 100m be considered "enhanced precision?"

I think it means once you get your (UWB-capable) phone within 100m of the tag you're trying to track, its precision increases.

For anyone who cares, these are the best trackers I've tried for Android, but they don't do directional finding like AirTags, it gives you a hollow circle that closes around a solid circle like a game of hot or cold.

Other than that these work really well, though pixel tag is coming out soon, unless you need urgently, might be worth waiting for as they are supposed to be coming out in November.
