A while back I signed up using a AAA promo code. I think it lowered the cost by a couple cents vs guest pricing and no session fees and no monthly fee. It says the promo code doesn't expire either.

I was looking at the numbers on the actual charging station and the biggest price difference between plus max and pay as you go is $0.26 for super off peak times and only $0.17 for off peak, and $0.15 for on peak. So it seems like your biggest savings would be to charge during off peak hours and it would only take 50kWh to break even. After that you are ahead. More for the other two time of use tiers. It could be worth it if you find your self charging more during on peak times. You could also try to factor in no session fees as well but that gets complicated.
