I see some reviews for this product complaining about frequent Android Auto disconnects. Android 16 (released June 2025) made some changes that causes problems for units produced before that that requires a software patch. I have seen only one brand that made a patch available while most others have not.

This product clearly mentions and states a possible fix right in its first bullet point.

BTW for anyone with a different unit with the Android connection issue you can try using that fix. The name for the mirroring function might differ from brand to brand (e.g. "Superlink") but it is the same thing. It worked for me.
