Do yourself a favor and get an ink tank printer. You'll spend a lot more on cartridges in the long run. And don't think you can get away with 3rd party cartridges either -- the firmware (or near-future firmware updates) on these is designed to only read genuine cartridges and potentially void your warranty if using non-genuine.

Personally I have a Canon G6020 and it works well and feels robust. I also have an Epson EcoTank ET-4850 but it has some issues with jamming and WiFi connectivity so I wouldn't really recommend it unless you get a great deal on it and don't print too often and don't mind troubleshooting every once in a while.
