It has automatic duplex printing, scanning, and copying. It has ethernet and wifi along with standard USB.
I don't allow it to update the firmware to ensure that 3rd party cartridges are not locked out.
It cam with starter toners.
I think the Canon color laser AIO are forgiving in allowing use of 3rd party toners. I am not sure about newer models.
Older models versus current ones will also have more availability for 3rd party toners.
You just have to be careful in 3rd party toners as they have batch to batch quality variability but can really save you money versus the oem ones.
I used to thrawl around ebay looking for these items for use at my work to try to save cost.
I would sometimes find them new in open box with the orange packing tape still around the printer and toner unsused.
