I have an older version, very durable, use it outside, leave it out in the sun, still works. Sound is meh, it's 4" tall, I wouldn't pay $50 for it

My wife teaches kids music classes and the quality on this one is astoundingly good -- way better than the JBL cheapies (which aren't THAT bad, but lack clarity and depth compared to this). It fills the room really well too.

I have used these in the past, single and paired, and they are pretty weak IMO, two were not as loud as a a single Aomais Go Mini. Sure they are smallish, and may be durable, but they are not loud, not sure of the wattage but they seem comparable to 10w throw-aways. The shape is chunky and even though small in total volume they are not a good shape for packing. Overpriced this shouldn't cost more than $20. For prospective you could get the W-King D8 mini ($44 on amazon today), though it's a much bigger speaker.

I bought this a while back to test it out. Indoors in a medium size room it sounded pretty good. But when I took it outside put it on the bench a few feet away and it sounded really anemic, and over-stressed when I cranked the volume. Granted, that's to be expected given its size. It's shorter and barely wider than a beer can. But for the price (I think I paid 60), I was expecting a little more.

I suppose if you really want something super compact, it's pretty good for what it is. However, if you can live with a slightly larger form factor, I think you can get a much better sounding device for not much more money.

Been using one of these as a shower speaker for a little more than a year now and it's been great. Paid $60 at that time, and would happily pick up another at this price if we needed it.

Battery life is very solid and, while I can't vouch for its volume outside of a shower, it's extremely well-suited for (at least) that use case.

I have a couple heavily-used Wonderboom 2s in near-mint condition but I'm tempted to buy anyway in order to ditch micro-USB charging. Pretty-good sound (especially paired for true stereo), floats, and withstands surprising abuse from my kids (youngest is almost 7 now).

I bought this and promptly returned it years ago, everything about it is mediocre. At this price point and size, I'd recommend the Tribit Stormbox Micro 2 which is currently $40 on Amazon:

The Stormbox Micro 3 has slightly deeper bass, and might be a hair louder, but I think the difference is minimal. It can be had for $56 on Tribit's website:

Got one about 6 months ago and I can't complain. It sounds ok with the bass boost on and seems to have decent battery life. I bought it because of an rtings review said it wasn't crap. Here is the link https://www.rtings.com/speaker/re...ge/outdoor
