I have both, but use 6 point sockets 99% of the time.

Use cherry red heat to break severely rusted fastener. Excessive torque can break off the fastener!

Lowes and Home Depot have small 40pc sets go on sale for $15-20 pretty often. Maybe some bits, but more usable stuff than this. Just my 2 cents.
