If you can wait, it might pay off. With the prices of RAM and CPU exploding, the complements that aren't affected such as coolers will tend get cheaper as demand for the whole shebang decreases. If you want to play the long game, buy everything except the storage, ram, gpu and cpu mid-next-year and then buy the rest in 2028.

While your advice is mostly solid, this effect isn't as strong on high end parts, because people who buy high end stuff aren't worried about whether RAM costs $200 extra. This is probably the most expensive CPU cooler I've ever seen lol.
