I opened it at 3:00 pm and it didn't even load. I refreshed the app and then it was 100% claimed already at 3:02 pm.That went by quick.
I was even quicker than that, literally clicked Claim within seconds and just got a spinning wheel. Never actually got anything, and now suspect it was a scam.
Verizon's daily freebies are kind of a scam. A lot of time and effort when the app usually gets stuck. Or tells you to be patient with a one minute countdown repeatedly, only to tell you it's sold out.
I've gotten a few of these, but Verizon would be better served to offer enough of a giveaway one or two days a week so that every customer within a 15-minute period gets it.
The technology overload aspect is reminiscent of Ticketmaster for a huge huge concert event. Or Verizon offering Super Bowl tickets or trip.

App gets stuck because it's running on "fast and reliable" Verizon internet.
