After decades of being an Xbox player, I finally called it quits last year for this exact reason! PS5's controller is a million times better in every way, and hasn't had 1 controller brake/have any issues!
Microsoft should be sued with a class action lawsuit due to them knowing this known issue and refuse to do anything to improve the problem.
