These have foam so you can't plug and sealant is ineffective. Not thanks.

Nice deal. BTW: you have to sign up and be logged in and add the tires to you cart and view them in the cart to see the discount. I'm on the fence about buying a set though - our Tesla is new (March 2026) and we have just over 4300 miles on it right now. We don't drive a ton and at the current rate, probably won't need to change tires for another 2 years I'm thinking (unless our driving amount increases drastically). So in the meantime, we'd have to store these in our garage and take up more space. The garage isn't temp controlled but is attached and insulated. I've read that tires start slowly degrading from the DOT date and may only be viable for 6-7 years max before needing to be changed (if they even last that much in terms of tread). This would be great savings to capitalize on but not sure if it would make practical sense in our current situation vs just waiting and paying for new tires and a change when we actually need one.

I got the same set for $640 out the door literally 2 weeks ago. That included install, balancing and, disposal from a local independent tire shop. I'm in SoCal if that means anything to anybody.

It may save you some work so you don't need to lug these to the shop for installation.

You will have to replace it around 15k. I add it 10k just in 7 months and it's at 6/32

What is the build date on yours? 4 digit code on the sidewall. 1st two digits are the week, 2nd two are the year.

2515. So about 15 months old. Not too bad. I've seen 3-5 years old Continental or Goodyear for about $125 each.
