On one hand instant digital buying is great. Downside is vendors can pull rug out on you anytime and transfer of ownership doesn't exist because you don't own it ever.
The music industry's "vinyl recordings have better sound" is marketing 101. It's environmentally detrimental for petroleum based product for consumerism sake.
I enjoy looking at game collectionsgame cases, but that physical media isn't truly needed any longer. Microsoft & Sony getting pinched by AI driven memory/storage cost increases. Cutting physical market makes sense to them.
Tough part is hestisitant to move towards all digital as Microsoft & Sony have proven to be untrustworthy in some of their big Corporations shenanigans.
