- Over 14x more battery capacity than AirTag's CR2032.
- Uses two AA batteries (not included).
- Use Energizer Ultimate Lithium for longest life.
- Alkaline or rechargeable batteries are not recommended.
- Easy assembly: Remove AirTag's battery and metal door, place on custom contact. Insert AA batteries. Screw together with included 4mm hex wrench.
- IP69 Waterproof & ultra-durable. Sound volume is about 2/3rd that of an uncased AirTag.
- Ultra-strong fiber reinforced composite construction + CNC machined screws.
- Discreet, doesn't look like an AirTag case (4.45" long x 1.57" wide x 0.75" tall).
- Great for vehicles, trailers, motorcycles, luggage (use alkaline batteries for checked baggage), camera bags, backpacks, snowmobiles, tool boxes, etc.

So far, I haven't experienced any signal issues. It works perfectly fine inside my backpack, even right next to my MacBook.
You do need to be patient when tightening the Allen screws. If they aren't tightened properly, the water seal can fail.
My only real complaint is that it doesn't have any secure attachment points for clips or a keyring. You have to use adhesive to keep it from moving around, which is annoying.
Some cheaper copycat versions actually include clips and a keyring hole, so I wish they would add those features in the next generation.

For things like luggage, backpacks, purses, etc. where the airtags can be easily reached and CR2032 batteries replaced, there are fabric mount options that are much smaller, stay in place (out of the way not floating around your bag) and are still relatively waterproof in case your bag/purse gets wet:
