Yes, about as good as it gets. The caveat is if you need more batteries. (Or if you are willing to sell what you don't need on marketplace to recoup $)
Yeah, I'm not sure about this one. If you need battery sure, but I don't, and don't want to mess with selling one. I do need an m18 circ because my m12 and old Porter Cable both struggle with bigger 2x material. Hoping for holiday sale next week as well!

I'm getting into hobby DIY woodworking at home and trying to choose my first circular saw. This or 5-3/8" Circular Saw w/ 2x 5.0 Ah Batteries & charger ( https://slickdeals.net/f/19916241 )?

Be aware that this 6 1/2" saw will 'barely' make it thru 2x dimensional lumber for any bevel cuts, such as a 45° bevel/angle setting and the other saw you mentioned (the 5 3/8" saw) won't even come close to being able to make it thru 2x lumber if you've got it set to try to cut a bevel.
That one can only do 90° cuts thru 2x material.
Personally, I can't fathom anyone buying less than a 7 1/4" saw unless they know for certain that they will always be cutting lumber material that's less thickness than typical 2x dimensional lumber (ie. plywood, casing, or trim material).
