Most of the reviews are pretty good, but it looks like some of them are iffy on the unit losing its suction power in about a month, that is slightly concerning, since this just has a 30 day warranty from Amazon.
The problem with all these spot cleaners, no matter the brand, is that the hose eventually will crack near the base from constant bending heating and cooling of the plastics. There goes all section, and a wet mess all over your floor. The replacement hoses are often half the price of a new unit, - so they are essentially disposable after a few years. I've dealt with Bissell, Hoover Eureka, brands where the hose almost always cracks in a couple of years near the base from constant bending. Duct tape on the hose work in a pinch until you can replace it.

Having shop vac and many different type of tools make me thinks its not hard to go modular on the hose- so when its broken it can be easily replaced but certainly its not a profitable route for this particular kind of machine.

For 50 I might bite if the machine was heated, but those typically don't heat very well anyway.
