I had one these years ago purchased through a Slickdeals post. Remember it being super stiff and it burned right down into the cottony layer the first time I grabbed a hot cast iron's handle with it. Doubt they're making them any better.

You would think Weber would make a good product.

These style of gloves are just meant to protect against radiant heat (like reaching to the back of a grill to check temperature), you should generally avoid using soft polyester gloves for direct contact of anything hot.

If you need to move cast iron, you use a leather or silicone handle holder and then this. Or if you're quick, thick leather gloves (like welding gloves) work.

Avoid Weber due to their extremely anti-consumer behavior screwing over June Oven owners. See Louis Rossmann's video for more details. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OA9otrFCpjw

We consumers will keep getting ripped off worse and worse if we continue to support these companies.

Our lasted one season before the mice hollowed it out for their home renovations. Keep it inside. :p

This (Should) Be Obvious,

There is nothing..."special" about these mitts. Unless having Weber branded on your stuff matters to you. Not that there is..."anything wrong with that". ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
