I have the Costco Midea fridge in my garage for about 1 year now, and it seems to work fine. I have never had to reach out to support or warranty, so no idea how well that will work out when I need to.

This is not a fridge/top freezer. this offers ability to have full freezer or full refrigerator or split. if you just need one or the other then sure can save some money. paying extra here to have different options. its a feature.

Wow this is great for my use case. I have a full size freezer in the garage, 20cuft as well. Would be nice to separate it into 2 10cuft to split up the meat vs ice cream, fruits and packaged items

What defines a fridge as "garage ready"? I've had my old kitchen fridge in the garage for the past decade. It may not have been ready for garage duty but it stepped up and filled the void when it was called upon. Kudos to you garage fridge. Kudos to you.

It is just another buzz word that is tacked on to every product to catch people's attention and is so overused & nonspecific that it has absolutely no meaning like "heavy duty" and "tactical" and "military grade"🤣

I bought this almost a year ago when it was on sale for $400 and use it as a freezer in the garage.

It works very well but pay attention to the reviews about the doors opening when you close the other door. I bought child locks to help prevent the door from popping open when you close the other door (lock is on both doors because it happens to each door).

I also put wireless thermometers in my freezer because the app is worthless with monitoring the temps.
