The Galaxy Tab A11+ is a fast, solid 11 inch tablet that stands out for everyday use, media, and travel, especially at the promo price. It feels noticeably quicker than the A9+, supports fast charging, and pairs well with Samsung devices. The tablet can come with either eSIM or physical SIM support, but Metro activation and checkout can be finicky, with browser issues, call in requirements, and account limits that may block extra orders. It is a strong value if you can get through the ordering hurdles and do not need a hassle free setup.

  • The tablet can be faster than an A9+ for everyday tasks, including media playback and reading use cases.

    roberthhidbruinfan07

  • The tablet can come with an eSIM option, which can simplify activation without needing a physical SIM.

    MesaNuevahenry333

  • The redemption process can complete smoothly for existing Metro customers, with a reported $20 out-the-door cost.

    BPRO77

  • The tablet can support hotspot use for home internet, and Wi‑Fi can work with an Ethernet dock setup.

    Left4Deal

  • The deal can be restricted by eligibility rules and limits, including caps on additional tablets and possible "call in" requirements.

    Quality-Learingkarthik_r

  • Service and unlocking can be complicated by billing and lock timing, including reports that service stops if the next month is not paid.

    porksmugglersroberthhid

  • Checkout can fail or loop indefinitely for some accounts, especially when the account does not meet an active-line requirement.

    SmilingHaddock380

  • Physical SIM selection can be unavailable during checkout, which can block plans to move the SIM into a 5G travel router.

I just joined Metro a couple of days ago. I can see the deal and add the tablet to my cart, but I can't actually complete checkout. On the website, after I click checkout/continue, the page just keeps refreshing and never makes it to the payment page. In the Metro app, the cart loads twice and then the screen just goes black.

This deal seems restricted to accounts that have had an active line for at least 30 days, even though the promo still shows up for newer accounts.

Bummer. That's a deal breaker for me. I was hoping to be able to get the physical SIM to swap into a 5G travel router. I could not see any way to request or add the physical SIM card to cart during checkout.

Unfortunately I had just bought one for $49 plus $20 plan. Bought again now for trade in on a future purchase.
Tablet is indeed noticeably faster than the A9+. As soon as you get it turn ram plus off . Decline instillation of all the junk games.

Just call in, it took maybe 8 minutes with the guy on the phone for him to get the order through for me, 20 dollars for a month of data for a free A11+ tablet is bonkers and well worth it.

Do these tablets need 365 days of active plan to be unlocked?
