With the A9+ deal, I was able to sign up for a new line and order a few shortly afterwards. Any way to do that with this as well? Or will it not let you or not apply the discount?
And does anyone know which phone plan is the cheapest to be able to add the tablet as an additional line, if I can sign up now for a month?

Not going to work. It will combine monthy bill. Say you pay 25 now, after buying your bill will be 45 and if you not going to pay your account will be suspended along with your phone line.

Ah, duh. I saw that, but apparently needed it spelled out. Thank you. I am not currently an existing customer, but will gladly become one if I can get this tablet for $20. At $120, not worth it to me. I understand the deal is for existing customers only, but I would still expect to see some language spelling out the deal on the public-facing website. If it's only shown on the existing customer-facing website, that makes more sense why I'm not seeing it. Can you confirm that as an existing customer, you don't see the "$250 rebate" language but rather $350 or something like that? Thank you.

As long he/she cancels the tablet line only, they'll be fine keeping the main account

or auto cancel by giveaway the number to ppl who want a port-in deal, and can keep the $20 credit if delay activate till ready to port-out. i haven't tried same day but they do prorate.

also possible getting a $10 10GB(not sure) line which may also have unlimited hotspot w/ the APN trick. someone took this offer when they tried to cancel.
