Isn't it locked for a year though? If so, not sure if it needs a year of service still, or if it unlocks regardless a year after it was first activated for just the one month. Otherwise, are you using this as a WiFi device?

I was ready to add this onto existing phone line but OOS. OOS for anyone else? Anyone know if it's been OOS recently and come back, and might be back in 1-3 days? Was really hoping for A11+. I can add the Moto Pad deal since that's in stock.

I just ordered this last week. Any chance of a price adjustment?

Basically , rep said Id have to return it and reorder . Not sure if its worth the hassle as I already flashed it to XAA U1 and would have to flash it back and also I tried a $20 CB from a sitewide site so really $30 difference I might try to order a second one anyway.

Eh, its OOS anyway.

It wont work, the rep was wrong. If I try to return they wont refund the plan fee. Only luck is a supervisor but best I would likely do is a accont credit which is useless if I do not plan to keep the account going.

I don't think that will work on Metro since metro still requires the IMEI and sim to be bound (holdover from it's old CDMA days) . You can't just take the SIM card out of metro devices and put it in another device and have it work.

Yea there used to be a workaround using the order number which is e-mailed after shipping to activate your phone, but now you need to get a SMS code before your account authenticates. I have yet to find a workaround.
