I just can't think of a use case for these? Like, if I'm too far away from my Kindle to touch the screen turn the page, I'm also too far away to be able to read it. Maybe if I had fewer hands?

They can be useful for all kinds of reasons, but I use mine when I want to get down to some serious reading while reclining or laying in bed. The kind of long reading session where your arm starts getting pins and needles because you've been holding a Kindle in front of your face for the last two hours. You prop your Kindle up on a pillow or you use a stand, you get nice and cozy and comfortable, and you go ahead and read for hours while keeping your arms under your nice warm blanket.
