I can't comment on whether this is a good deal, but I own a similar model for my MacBook Air and it's well made and retains its shape well despite abuse in my backpack.

At this price, figured I'd give this sleeve and the Thule Attaché14 a shot @ $36.73 to see what I like best. Thanks!

This looks interesting, but do you keep it in the case in use? It seems like it would be problematic for the fans etc (I have a 14" MacBook Pro 3 max, and with some intensive tasks, I don't know if I want to keep the heat "in" you know?

Any idea on the fitment for an Lenovo X1 Carbon (Gen13/14)? Loose? Snug? Just right?

And here I would have thought to use the sleeve as a flyswatter

How does this act as a bug spray?

Might be slightly loose but I'd say it would be okay. Especially if you have other things in there, would keep the pc in place. The 16 inch one held my Lenovo P1 perfectly.

Yes you use in while it's zipped inside the closed case.

Should probably fit a zephyrus g14 pretty well given the similar dimensions? Can anyone comment?

You keep in the case in use. Closed, zipped, and all that. Shrink wrap too if you want. You would use a 2nd MacBook to remote into the 1st MacBook. But in order to protect your 2nd MacBook you would also need to keep it closed and zipped then remote in from the 3rd MacBook that remote into the 2nd MacBook that remote into the 1st MacBook. That's how that got you hooked on infinite number of daisy chained cases configuration and you will eventually left the last one unprotected.
