In 4 one; thanks a heap!

Most Wi-Fi 7 routers have a 2.5G WAN port, but not all of them have 2.5G LAN ports - which this unit so happens to have. A steal for the price, IMO.

Edit: does not support 6 GHz band. Still keeping it nevertheless.

OpenWRT support is critical in my opinion. I have an ASUS router, and I program my ASUS to OpenWRT for the best router you can have! I've had nothing but trouble with TP routers in the past! TP routers have always given me a short life and poor quality....https://www.foxnews.com/tech/fbi-...fi-routers

That's a bummer. Linksys MX4300 used to cost even less on Woot brand new, and did have proper OpenWRT support.

Yup. Once you go OpenWRT, there is no turning back. I am well setup on two Linksys MX4300 connected wired and they have been very solid.

Thanks for sharing. I have 2 MX4300 as well. Does the mesh work on OpenWRT? And is the speed still the same? Thanks.
