Grabbed one to replace my parents aging Asus CX1700 chromebook. It's tempting to grab a backlit keyboard off ebay, but that risks voiding the warranty and the swap is needlessly intensive (WTH Dell?). I won't miss the chromebook, lol.

snagged this for a friend, total came out to $180ish, there's a few left.

Another key point: this has two ddr4 ram slots, unsoldered. I have an old 8gb ddr4 from a previous laptop I upgraded somewhere in a junk drawer, can't believe I'll actually be able to put it to good use and get a 16gb RAM /512gb SSD laptop for under $200 in RAMpocalypse 2026
