More than acceptable. You wouldn't find a better laptop at this price than this that has a fairly modern processor and good display.

Grabbed one to replace my parents aging Asus CX1700 chromebook. It's tempting to grab a backlit keyboard off ebay, but that risks voiding the warranty and the swap is needlessly intensive (WTH Dell?). I won't miss the chromebook, lol.

snagged this for a friend, total came out to $180ish, there's a few left.

Another key point: this has two ddr4 ram slots, unsoldered. I have an old 8gb ddr4 from a previous laptop I upgraded somewhere in a junk drawer, can't believe I'll actually be able to put it to good use and get a 16gb RAM /512gb SSD laptop for under $200 in RAMpocalypse 2026

The LIKE NEW is nearly perfect condition minus one small 3" surface scratch on cover. Unfortunately, it doesn't boot up with my 16GB DDR4 ram (screen stays black) and it's really slow in stock form. It won't load windows updates and there seems to be an issue with the installed Windows as it won't load activation screen and won't let me run certain programs (lack of permissions)? Windows Update is trying to load the Win 11 repair but that's taking 12 hours and then fails as something else is running. Reset fails too. What a shame.
