I've had mine about a year, its somewhat wobbly on the "tall seat" side, but once you put weight on it theres no more wobble. I dont have any complaints, its held up well and never felt unsafe.

Got one for my aunt years back at her request since she sucks at online anything, I'm not 1000% sure this is exact same brand, but same idea for sure at least, I don't think hers came with the saddle bags... it's stronger than you'd think, and a great help once you start getting old. It was 10 years ago and although I tested it, didn't have the need. Going to buy one for myself today tho!

Is this a lot better than the plain kneeling pads from the dollar tree? I'm not too old but I do use my kneeling pad.

Those 2 handles save your knees and back which is the main point it attracts people who already have the needsAlso, this thing works when the situation requires kneeling for a long time. eg, I worked in the attic the other day with this and my knee pads(double cushioning). I have to say, it helps a lot.

Dang SD, you're making me plan ahead for crapped knee. Now I have a section in my garage dedicated to storing stuff bought for old age. Wish this thing was around $10 though.

I've been into bodybuilding consistently for 35 years. I just told a couple of friends the other day that an annoying part of the aging process is it's easy to get down, not so easy getting up. I'm in for one of these. Might use it for a lot of projects outside of gardening.

I'm not seeing the practicality here. In the kneeling position, the padded area is a few inches off the ground, which can be good or bad depending upon the situation, but you're reach is then restricted on your left and right by the arm supports. That seems like a very restrictive and potentially uncomfortable position for gardening, especially for any prolonged period of time. You would be bent extremely forward in a kneeling position most of the time.

And then when flipped over, the seat of the unit is only a foot and an half off the ground. So basically sitting on it would require lowering your tush to almost a squat position that requires deep bending of the knees, all without any back support or robust arm supports. Better hope grandma's balance and those tubular welds are up to the task.

You may as well instead of this device just use a small chair with a back support, quality arm rests, and a nice seat cushion when opting for the seated position. And then when kneeling, use the seat cushion or a dedicated knee pad to place anywhere on the ground without any restrictions or limited kneeling positions. You can still use the arm rests and / or back support of the chair to more safely raise up to a standing position.

Before my mom passed she used a sturdy rolling walker that had a seat and continued to garden. It allowed her to get up and down safely, and provided a ton of stability. That too seems like a better option than this sketchy thing.

I have a similar product. After a hip replacement it was key. The most important thing it provides are handles when kneeling such that you can lift yourself up off the ground. As another commenter states, it's not so much kneeling down, but the getting back up that is difficult. Also, watch throwing that "o" word around. I had a hip replacement at theage of 47.
