The opposite. VA panels have poor viewing angles (color shift, etc.) so to correct this, monitor makers tend to make the larger VA monitors curved to compensate. IPS panels look better from angle so they don't necessarily need to be curved and when they are, they tend to have less of a curve than VA panels.

so large va panels need curve
large ips panel no need curve
and large panels need qhd or 4k and a better than 60 hz refresh rate correct? non gamer non movie maybe TikTok real or podcast mostly emails and spreadsheets

VA panels you see banding too, not good when edit photo and videos.

60Hz doesn't care about screen size really, if you don't know if you "need" it, you PROBABLY don't, but it certainly isn't a negative.

BUT especially for spreadsheets, emails etc QHD or 4k imo.

Ok I am coming from a MacBook Pro which has retina screen . So why can't I jsut use my 4k tv scrrrn ?
