Milwaukee updated the m12 impact recently but they have not updated the M18 in a long long time. This is one of Milwaukee's weakest tools right now. If you need more power, Milwaukee has the M18 mid-torque but I think it's still weaker than the M12.

I'm not sure what you mean by M18 has not been updated in a long long time, model 2967-20 is a high torque M18 impact wrench, released in late 2023, 1,600 ft-lbs of torque, and you can get them for $190 currently with HD hack.

That's a 1/2, I was explicitly talking about 3/8" as this is a thread on 3/8".

This model is outdated and their M18 3/8" mid-torque 2960-20 came out in 2020.
