If you've got a little gadget cash to burn, I think so. It's nice to know how much wattage devices are drawing, especially those that can be inscrutable about their charging status or speed.

with how chargers are priced this comes out to be around $5-15 more due to the screen (that doesnt even cover the front of the tiny cube completely) - this is probably the biggest gimmick to come from Anker in like 5 years or more. The constant "sale" at $26 is embarrassing

you can get usb cables with little meter on them without paying a premium. none of these are actually measuring anything, they instead are reporting the handshake data being exchanged between your charger and phone. most phones have OS settings where you can tell them to stop charging around 80% which some claim will extend battery longevity and may save a negligible amount of electricity.

This is the route I took. I ordered a few 100W cables from AliExpress that have a display that show the charging wattage. I think I paid like $3/cable.

I have one and think it's cool and interesting. Certainly not necessary and more for curious people than anything else. Worth it if you don't mind spending a little extra.

I think that it's a nice to have. Definitely not a need.

I have power banks with screens, and it has been very handy every once in a while to know that something wasn't charging at the expected rate.

If you don't think that's important, you can keep those ten bucks in your pocket.

I like to see the wattage. It's particularly useful for laptops because you can see how fast it's charging and that when it's done charging without booting up the laptop. This also applies to tablets and other devices

I like this more for the 180° plug. I prefer chargers with ports that face downward, but there are situations when traveling when outward facing is needed. I wish there were more chargers with this kind of plug.

I bought a few and have been happy with them.

Just bought my wife a garmin watch and tried to charge it on another Anker block, higher wattage. Apparently the block and watch weren't able to negotiate wattages and it didn't charge....the block was blasting it with too high a wattage.

This block modulated the wattage and charged the watch. It's nice to see the wattage on the display. Ability to change plug orientation is nice too.

I just received it a few days ago. I tried it on various devices with USB C port. So far, nothing breaks yet.

It never reaches 45W on the screen.

Screen shows the following:

chromebook: 9 to 12
Tablet with 18W: 18
Tablet wih 45W: 18... and then screen turns off. Assuming it reaches 45W?
Cell phone: : 12 to 19

That's really pricey for a 45w charger. I bought a 2 pack of anker 45w chargers at the end of last year for $20.
