For those who have it, is paying extra for a charger with a screen really worth it?

I have power banks with screens, and it has been very handy every once in a while to know that something wasn't charging at the expected rate.
If you don't think that's important, you can keep those ten bucks in your pocket.

Pros:
Charging status
Temp (?)
Two modes of charging are selectable by tapping the charger
Possible pros or cons:
- cute animation plays during charging
- cute "exit animation" plays when disconnecting charged device
Just bought my wife a garmin watch and tried to charge it on another Anker block, higher wattage. Apparently the block and watch weren't able to negotiate wattages and it didn't charge....the block was blasting it with too high a wattage.
This block modulated the wattage and charged the watch. It's nice to see the wattage on the display. Ability to change plug orientation is nice too.
It never reaches 45W on the screen.
Screen shows the following:
chromebook: 9 to 12
Tablet with 18W: 18
Tablet wih 45W: 18... and then screen turns off. Assuming it reaches 45W?
Cell phone: : 12 to 19
