Bought one of these a few months ago. It was defective out of the box. Customer service was responding the next day helping troubleshoot but when I asked for a RMA to send it back, they stopped responding altogether. 2 weeks and multiple emails and nothing. I finally had to threaten a chargeback on my credit card if they didn't respond in 24 hours. The next day they sent me the RMA. I'm thinking they were stalling because their policy is a complete refund within 30 days. No refunds afterwards.

Did you buy from Epson direct? That's one of the problems with buying direct vs a local or online retailer -- returns. Staples, Target, Best Buy, Costco, etc...just box it up, take it back and you get your refund almost instantly, ,no questions asked (other than why you're returning it).

I have this printer, and boy does it eat ink. Living in Central Florida, there's also lots of power flickers with the storms. It reboots and consumes ink every time. I read in another post the they are firmware locking the ink too, so you have to use Epson. When I upgrade, it's going to be one with tanks.
