My Hisense 85 inch tv stopped working after 18 months now out of warranty . To call a technician its another 200 dollar. I would but low end tv from LG or samsung at least it will work for longer . Dobt get trap of low cost or buy from costco if you have membership who offer warrenty for 5 year

I had an LG that stopped working in month 13, right after the warranty expired. It can happen with any brand. I will say though, all did fix it for free. The CS rep said "eh, it's close enough" and sent someone out at no charge. This was 15 years ago though.

nope. my lg oled stopped working a month after warranty. they refused to replace it. i eventually got them to send a repair guy out and now the screen works and it turns on again but the digital audio jack is wonky and will make a crackle noise like every 30 seconds and that's If it decides to work at all. That was my first LG TV and probably will be my last. id say just buy your tvs from costco.

FWIW, I have 3 Hisense TVs in my home. The oldest one is a 1080p dumb TV from a Groupon deal back in 2012. The second oldest is a 65U8H I got on clearance mid 2023. The newest is a 55U8N that I picked up used off of OfferUp a week ago.

So far, all of them have been great for the price. Many people have great experiences with their electronics, with some lasting well beyond their expected life. Get an extended warranty if you want piece of mind, or you can be like me and just buy at a price that you're ok with taking a gamble on.

The only Hisense/TCL TVs worth buying are their upper-level models
