Idk, labels seem a little pricey compared to the printer. Might be better to forgo the promo code and get one of the bundles with additional labels.

Had mine for few years now. Small, works well with the app, and fun to play around with in the app. Recently, I found out the lettering can scrub off easily. I wanted to put my phone number on my keys but found my keys scrub the letters off. I'm guessing it's because the labels aren't laminated like the ones I had with my Brother label maker. So it just depends what you're labeling.

I needed a thin printer. This looks to be a great price. In for one.

Do not get this nimbot - it's a great printer but you can only use their overpriced labels. You can get an open model that uses any labels regularly for around 16 or 17$. This is basically just the "disposable printer" model right here. Here's just an example of one I found that doesn't lock you in to their tape:

Don' the labels all seem to cost about $12-$15 per three rolls (depending on size / type)? I really don't see a difference since NIIMBOT has been around for quite some time so I doubt they are doing to disappear which would be my only concern if locked into a brand if cost wasn't different.

The printer you linked too does have 27K reviews compared to NIIMBOT's 6K. But the NIIMBOT's branded labels self identify, have pretty much guaranteed vs random no name levels which require manual setup and may or may not work (well) with a 3rd party device...especially if you are sourcing labels off places like AliExpress. The magically works out of the box and no guess work may be a huge QOL improvement that the NIIMBOT has going for it.

To me the logical seems to buy the printer that best suits your need, at a price you are willing to pay vs every time any of these label markers come up the entire comments section devolves into this same knee jerk discussion about PrOpRiEtArY which does not seem to actually matter when it comes to buying labels since they all cost basically the same via Amazon.

*P.S. Countless users have stated the NIIMBOT printers can be tricked into using any label if you reuse the OEM rolls. Never tried so can't comment directly.

Expired unfortunately. Or at least the code doesn't work for me.
