These are pretty great headphones as far as sound/ANC but, read up on the issues with the hinges. Mine broke with under a year of use, and there's an easy fix involving super-glue and thread but... Its a known issue and likely to happen, to a degree 3rd parties have a bunch of 'fixes' you can buy for this model.

These are pretty great headphones as far as sound/ANC but, read up on the issues with the hinges. Mine broke with under a year of use, and there's an easy fix involving super-glue and thread but... Its a known issue and likely to happen, to a degree 3rd parties have a bunch of 'fixes' you can buy for this model.

I have xm4 and xm5. You don't feel any difference unless you pay special attention to see what's the difference is. I would buy this only if my xm4 is broken. 200 is good price though.

From what I've read these can be skipped if you have the XM4s already. Not a major upgrade for sound or ANC and a downgrade for design/portability.

For anyone wanting the xm6, (if you have decent open box from Best buy) check out the Inzone inzone h9 II (it has the same drivers as the xm6), which can be had (open box excellent) when in stock for under $120. They are incredibly light, and output great sound. They do not have the same level of noise canceling and don't fold up as small (so less ideal for travel, I use mine at home). Mic is detachable, not integrated.

I've gotten two pairs that were indistinguishable from new (except for one came without the outer box, basically a sheath with graphics printed on it).

The h9 II come with a USB dongle as well as

Note: mine looked perfectly clean, but you should still sanitize to be safe.

Same, mine broke after awhile and i only used them while at home. Lookup xm5 hinge repair kit and you'll see alot of 3rd party accessories to help fix that..
