You can use it in place of an oil but I still like to use this to clean and disinfect and then put a drop of clipper oil on mine.

No. This is to clean, disinfect, prevent rust, and, as the name implies, cool the blade during use. You still want to use clipper oil between uses. This is primarily used by barbers and pet groomers. There isn't a huge reason to use if you're just cutting your own hair at home, but as a groomer, I go through a few cans of it a month and this is a phenomenal price. I usually pay ≈$15 per can. I wish I hadn't missed it.

ah... thoought cool care was just the name but one who knows, makes the marketing more cool.

it's like antifreeze for clippers running hot from customer to customer.
