About this item:
  • Warp-Free & Hidden Layer Lines: Offers strong first-layer adhesion to PEI, glass, and common build plates to prevent edge curling. Its natural low-gloss finish reduces visible layer lines, giving models a smooth matte look right off the print bed with minimal sanding needed.
  • Matte PLA Bundle 10kg Black: Matte black brings a sleek, professional finish to functional parts, cosplay props, desktop tools, and home decor. This 4kg bulk pack is cost-effective and ideal for printing large models or handling continuous batch jobs.
  • Clog-Free and Reliable Printing: Neat winding helps prevent tangles and nozzle clogs, making it ideal for long prints and print farms. It provides smooth, consistent feeding so you can run batch jobs and overnight prints with confidence.
  • High Speed 3D Printer Filament: Print smooth at 190-230°C nozzle and 25-60°C bed temperature. Supports high-speed printing up to 300mm/s. Works seamlessly with most FDM 3D printers, making it easy to get great results right out of the box.

They probably are the best filament out there - though I've been having a lot of good experiences with Inslogic lately.

Its a "better brand" of filament.

Print quality wise, I havent noticed any difference between this and some of the absolute cheapest filaments. But if you want a very specific color/surface finish, then yeah, you might have to get more expensive filaments to get exactly wheat you want.

This stuff hides layer lines really well. Been through quite a few rolls, never had a bad one.

$20 a roll is like 5 years ago pricing, pla currently is around $10-$15 a roll
If I'm not mistaken, 10kg = 10 rolls = $10 per roll for this deal

Nice price, but I'd prefer to pick my own rolls in the bundle.

Agreed- they do treat the edges at least though. But I'd prefer a re-usable plastic spool (they even sell refills but their main spools can't take refills, go figure)

If you have any refillable plastic spools, it's really easy to transfer the filament from the cardboard spools. You can always print one if you need to. Plenty of YT vids on the subject.

Elegoo matte PLA can be purchased for $40 for 4 spools of black at anytime on Amazon. They have 2 different SKUs for cardboard or plastic spools for basically the same price and it is just as good as Polymaker.

these guys roll fine in my space pi and my homemade dry boxes. They're cardboard but the edges are smooth and well-burnished.
