I have had this for about a year and a half. It uses an LG B4 panel. The picture is superb for the money. It's easily worth the price. You will like this TV if you use a good streaming device. It will probably frustrate you if you want to use the onboard streaming apps.

There have been lots of OLED deals lately. I don't think $500 is great for this model anymore.

Have there been? There don't seem to be any right now. This is still a good deal for a 55" OLED.
