I bought this TV from Best Buy last week for 899.00 and was able to have them price match the 50.00. Thanks Slickdeals! There is a guy on YouTube called Quantum TV that finds the best settings and he was spot on! Not OLED, but real close. This TV is fantastic. I always buy Geek Squad's 5 year warranty, because I live in Florida, they come to your home, and it covers power surges.
Hisense U7 comes across as a bright mini LED QLED TV that punches above budget pricing, with strong anti glare performance, solid outdoor visibility, and surprisingly capable built in speakers. Picture quality is described as close to OLED in some setups, though still not as good as a C5, and the set can handle reflected light from windows and ceiling fixtures well. A few notes point to better alternatives or past lower prices, and one 85 inch unit arrived defective with nonstop flickering. A capable mid tier pick if brightness and reflections matter most.
Bright living rooms with windows and lamps, because the anti-glare finish cuts reflections and the panel stays bright.
Yes. The anti-reflective finish noticeably reduces reflections from in-ceiling lights and performs much better than a glossy TCL in bright afternoon light. It can still struggle with direct, intense sunlight, but it is reported to be a strong choice for bright rooms and covered patios.
Yes. The built-in speakers are reported to be surprisingly capable and hold up well on their own, with enough output for casual use. A soundbar and subwoofer still improve the setup, but the TV speakers are not described as a weak point.
Yes. A Best Buy purchase was price matched down by $50, and another report says the TV briefly dropped to about $750 on the Fire OS version with Prime membership required. That makes it worth checking for store price matches and past sale patterns before buying.
Dirty screen was not noticeable in one report despite being listed as a con in reviews, and the TV was described as clean in normal use. A separate 85-inch unit arrived defective with nonstop black/off/on flickering and needed an exchange, so panel quality may vary.
Sounds like a really good option for a bright room. Thanks!
Yeah, that's why I've been keeping an eye on it, since my living room has an obnoxious large window that the sun streams into in the evening directly across from my TV.
Rolled the dice and bought it from DoorDash with gift cards (15-20% off), unfortunately they didn't have pickup in my location so had people lying that they didn't have it in stock since who wants to squeeze a tv in a fiat.

Nope, I can't help that DoorDash has the technology to filter car sizes for delivery and doesn't use it. Hell even gave them a few hours and I get a call stating oh dude they are totally out of stock… I'm like okay leave me alone, i literally said refund me if they are out of stock. Felt fishy so I ordered it from Best Buy directly and it was ready for pickup in 15 mins. Homie said I cancelled and DoorDash tried to keep my 940 in gift cards cause he wanted my full 40$ tip. SS'd that bb order and told them to redeliver that shit with someone who has a suv/van/truck. Hope that farker is banned from DD with the screenshots I took. Next guy was freaking stoked that he got the order with his suv.
